Dear Daddy,

DEAR DADDY,

Happy Father's Day.

I grew up to see a man that loves me so much and will do anything to protect and provide for me.

Your arms are so strong to hold me in an embrace and to discipline me when I misbehave or misrepresent, lol.

You do not condone any form of irresponsibility but you support hard work and diligence.

You look out for us (my siblings  and I) and you try your best to give us a good life within your reach.

You taught us to be contented with what we have and to strive for greatness.

You taught us cleanliness, such that even without having a bath, we should look so clean. He'd say 'brush your teeth, wash your face, rub cream on your face and look like a human being not someone who lives in the bush', haha.

You would go to the market and negotiate prices more than a woman (as they say) and you would support in the cooking and when eating, you'd eat with such relish and appreciate the cook every step of the way.

You're the only man who knows that when I'm hungry, I'd rather curl up in bed than go make something to eat (something that is peculiar to mum and I) but you'd go fix something for us to eat. People would call me lazy and spoilt for that but you don't see it like that, in fact, it's laughable to you and such a joy to be able to meet your family's needs. Thank you daddy.

My sister and I came first and you were ridiculed as having only females in the midst of a family where having boys was predominant (and this is seen as you never had any sister just 'boys high school') but with support from mom, you loved us however and made us strong ladies today.

We've had two guys (twins) in our pack and kai!, it's awesome to have them with us.

You guys love, support and respect women. You never treat her with disdain but you see her as an intelligent and strong yet lovable being. One reason I believe that properly raised men are a breath of fresh air in any society.

We have had good times and bad times but in all you (daddy) have been the daddy I love and admire. I see the pride in your eyes when you're introducing me and my siblings to people.

You (and mom) have done an awesome job in raising us. Today, we are all we are because you were there for us.

Thank you for staying and being our Father.

Dear daddy, live long, healthy and prosper.

I love you, mwah😍😍

Happy Father's day.

TEACH THE BOYCHILD TOO

In the past and even currently, we focus on raising the girlchild to be a good cook, home keeper, submissive etc just so that she can be a good wife, mother and woman. We even go as far as teaching her ways to defend herself in the case of sexual harassment from the opposite sex. We teach her how to talk to a man, what to do to please him and win his heart, how to support him in providing for the home. Now, she is even prepared to handle an abusive relationship, a cheating husband or an absentee husband and father and how to cope, because that's what a 'good and submissive' woman would do, right? Because of all of this preparation, she would do as is expected of her without which, society will 'chop' her in pieces. If she expects 100% commitment and responsibility from her husband or partner, she will be seen as being too demanding. Her life is centered around him and his. She is his possession. He feels proud that he owns her and therefore she can only do as he wan...
